Sill Music Group (SMG) was founded in 1996 by Lonnie Sill and specializes in the creation, delivery, and marketing of music in film, television and soundtracks.  SMG has the expertise necessary to define the promotion and monetization of music (IP) in traditional and progressive methods of delivery.  
 
Principal Lonnie Sill offers a unique understanding of today's creative needs and a complete hands-on background in all areas of song development and music production. Sill, former department head of Paramount Pictures film and TV music has supervised music for multiple productions including Ghost, Hunt for Red October, Endless Summer II, Elvis: The Mini-Series  and the IMAX 3-D CG animated sci-fi film Quantum Quest. He has also produced music for key industry leaders including: Columbia Pictures, Fox, Touchstone, CBS/Paramount TV, Windswept Pacific and Cherry Lane Music Publishing. He led an unprecedented marketing/publishing agreement with the American Film Marketing Association, promoting the collection of audio/video and music publishing royalties worldwide. 
 
Michael Johnson brings technical and creative expertise to SMG. He understands what advertisers and promo producers want musically, serving as a promotions producer and engineer for The WB, NBC and ABC. Johnson was involved in the creation of the first DVD authoring system and titles at Sony and Blu-ray discs for Panasonic. Johnson designed the technical guidelines and promo catalog reclamation for NBC Music. He has represented a diverse collection of music ranging from Leiber & Stoller (Jail House Rock, Stand By Me, etc.) to Billy Strayhorn (Take the A Train) and the unreleased recordings of Frank Sinatra. As a manager and consultant he represents a number of key pieces of intellectual property that gross millions annually.
